To be a joyful community of Christ followers and worshippers.

 

It all begins with Grace.  

We are a grace-centered church. It is only by God’s grace (unmerited favor) that we can receive the gift of everlasting life through Jesus Christ... a gift that cannot be earned and cannot be lost. This is where joy begins and it's the first step towards a new life.

 

The Calvary Mission...

To grow in the knowledge of God, His grace, and to teach others to do the same.

    • Jesus said this to His disciples,

 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.  (Matthew 5:14)

    • When the light of Christ shines through you, the world cannot help but notice the difference He can make in your life.

Have you ever wondered...

    • Why is there so much evil in the world?
    • How can anyone "keep the faith" when their own life  seems to be falling apart?

While we may have doubts about the future, God is in control.

The values in our culture may change, but the truths found in God's written Word and in His Creation NEVER change.

God says,

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
And whose hope is the Lord.
8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,
Which spreads out its roots by the river,
And will not fear when heat comes;
But its leaf will be green,
And will not be anxious in the year of drought,
Nor will cease from yielding fruit."   (Jeremiah 17:7-8)
