The Way Forward...

It is no surprise that the first Christians were called followers of The Way.  Jesus even said "... I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." 

While centuries have passed since those early days of Christianity, Jesus still saves those who seek the truth and believe in Him for everlasting life. He gives abundant life to those who follow Him.

Spiritual Growth 

Spiritual growth is a central theme in the way we do ministry at Calvary. It's all about learning, growing, and telling others!

1. Grow in knowledge.

  • To learn a spiritual truth is to grow in knowledge.

2. Grow in your faith.

  • When you experience God's presence and blessings, your faith will grow.

3. Tell others.

  • When your faith grows, you should tell others!

4. Repeat Steps 1-3 .

  • Keep learning, keep growing, and keep telling others!

The Greatest Spiritual Truth 

Jesus' death on the cross was the necessary payment for your sins. His glorious resurrection from the grave demonstrated His power over sin and death. He did all this for you! By believing in the Lord Jesus Christ for everlasting life, you can receive salvation, a gift that will never fade away! 

In the gospel of John, we find these words of Jesus,

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

Have you placed your faith in Jesus Christ for salvation? If so, praise God! You can demonstrate such faith and thank the Lord for saving you through a prayer like this:

Jesus, I know I am a sinner and need to be saved by your grace. I turn from trusting myself and look only to you who can save me from the penalty of my sin. I know you died on the cross for my sins, that you were buried, and that you rose again so I can have everlasting life. Thank you for saving me! Make me the person you want me to be. Amen.
